Our Team | Dubbe Moulder Architects

The staff at Dubbe Moulder Architects strives to provide quality design and execution by integrating the specialties of each of our team members. Collectively, we are diverse, with strong construction and architectural backgrounds, and proficiency with all aspects of the building process.

Kurt Dubbe, AIA

Principal and founder

Kurt is one of the two founding partners at DMA. He studied architecture and historic preservation at Virginia Tech and University of Minnesota. In addition to residential and interior design, Kurt maintains a strong passion for historic preservation and community revitalization. He was a founding member and past chair of the Teton County Historic Preservation Board. He is currently on the Wyoming Review Board for National Register Nominations, and the Wyoming Monuments and Markers Advisory Committee, and on the Board of Advisors for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Kurt’s interests include spending time with his wife and family at their mountain cabin in northwestern Montana, and their place near South Pass City in central Wyoming.

Chris Moulder, AIA

Principal and founder

Chris is the other founding partner at DMA. Originally from Huntington, Connecticut, he wanted to explore more of the United States and chose to pursue his architectural degree at Kansas State University, with a special emphasis on vernacular architecture. Upon graduation, Chris (and his wife Jolene, office manager at DMA) moved to Jackson, where he worked for other local firms before joining forces with Kurt Dubbe to form DMA. Chris is very involved in the community, having coached Little League and Babe Ruth baseball. He currently serves on the Rafter J Ranch Architectural Review Committee and is a past member of Teton County Parks & Recreation Board and the Jackson Hole Youth Baseball Board. He enjoys playing softball, fly fishing, and photography.

Architect Intern, Project Manager

Kevin has been influenced by art, construction, and the environment. This strong influence has proliferated from growing up in the mountains of Colorado, working in the construction and furniture trade. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design, from the university of Colorado and a Master of Architecture from the University of Idaho. He contributes to DMA project management, design collaboration, drafting, and guiding others to achieve a successful architectural composition. He enjoys working with his hands in both drawing/painting and designing/building a range of handmade wood furniture and accessories.

Ethan Moulder
Ben Weisbeck

Architect Intern

Ethan has recently joined the DMA team as an architect intern. He is our principal Chris Moulder’s son and attended Kansas State University where he received his Master’s in Architecture. He was inspired at a very young age by his father’s profession. He is now close to becoming a licensed architect, working on his fourth exam out of six, and intends to use his time wisely at DMA by learning all he can. You can read more about him and the path that led him to be in our office today on this blog post. When not working, remaining true to his original passion as a child, Ethan likes to build things, and he enjoys a variety of sports and outdoor activities.

Project Manager

Ben is originally from Attica, New York, where he spent many years working as a carpenter for his father’s construction company before he went to college to study architecture. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Alfred State University. Ben is passionate about implementing new architectural practices with historic buildings as well as designing for the environment. He enjoys the outdoors when not at work: back-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking and white water rafting are a few of his favorite pastimes..

Nereida Ortiz

Born in Durango, Mexico and raised in Tetonia, Idaho from the age of 4, Nery (pronounced net-TEE) has an Associate of Science in Drafting & CAD Technology from High-Tech Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. She has now been a drafter for the past fifteen years and, coming from a family of hard working immigrants that have all inspired her, she applies their same work ethic and attention to detail to the field of drafting. The loves of her life are her two sons and her husband; together they enjoy camping, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and traveling.

Alex Charintsev

He moved to Jackson Hole nine years ago to enjoy all the fun things our valley offers: snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking and more. He loves spending time with his wife and baby daughter.

Jolene Moulder

Office Manager

Jolene is DMA’s bookkeeper and office manager. From Kansas, Jolene attended Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education at Kansas State University. She met Chris Moulder while attending KSU, and they moved to Jackson in January of 1989. Now that their children, Lucas, Abbie and Ethan, are grown, Jolene has shifted from involving herself in “kid organizations” to serving Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church and working as the coordinator of the Jackson Hole Community Blood Drives. A “summer person”, her free time is filled with hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing, and in the winter, staying warm and reading good books.

Aude-Noelle Nevius

Marketing Director

Born and raised in various African countries, Aude (pronounced “ode”) is French and graduated from Sessions College with a Master’s Certificate in Graphic Design. She has a creative background with fourteen years as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator prior to her role as marketing coordinator. Her love for a fast-paced work environment, the desire to work with a team, and an opportunity to add depth to the firm’s marketing efforts are what drew her to DMA. On her free time, Aude loves sketching and painting, and, with her husband, traveling, road biking, hiking, skate skiing.
