Jackson Hole Fire/EMS Station 1 Expansion

Jackson, Wyoming  •  17,800 sq. ft

Design Team: Kurt Dubbe, AIA; McKenzie King, John Fabian, Nereida Ortiz, Alex Charintsev, Kevin Noble

The existing Fire / EMS Station 1 is located in the Town of Jackson, at 60 East Pearl Avenue, between S Cache St and S King St. The original Station 1 was constructed in 1964 and has undergone 3 different additions (1974, 1991, and 2004). The existing structure needs to be brought up to current code requirements, and also needs to fulfill an expanded program to satisfy current Fire / EMS operations, and community outreach. The new architectural design keeps the existing first floor footprint, rebuilds the second floor, and accommodates a new two story addition that includes a basement.
